About Us
Guardian Behavioral Health Foundation was established as a nonprofit organization to provide mental health assistance to individuals diagnosed with a mental illness who cannot afford treatment and to provide mental health education to the public.
Research suggests that untreated mental illness is the leading cause of disability, and less than one-third of people who seek help receive minimally adequate care due to their inability to afford the appropriate treatment. Our foundation seeks to create an environment in which even the least fortunate in society can have a chance at a normal life.
We do this by providing financial assistance to individuals and families living with a mental illness so they can receive the mental health assistance needed to help restore balance in their lives, achieve the highest level of health and wellness, live as independently as possible and engage in meaningful community, social, recreational, and educational activities.
Our staff is comprised of compassionate mental health professionals that are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of individuals and families affected by mental illness. At Guardian Behavioral Health Foundation, we guarantee a very personable experience.
Guardian Behavioral Health Foundation provides mental health screenings, medication assistance, and education to providers and families. These comprehensive services would not be possible without the generosity of donors and corporate sponsors that fund our cause.
